The New York Times has selected Ross Douthat, a 29-year-old, pro-life Catholic, to be its next Op-Ed page columnist. He's taking the slot formerly held by Bill Kristol.Douthat ("Dow-thut") is currently a blogger and senior editor at The Atlantic. He is co-author, with Reihan Salam, of the 2008 book "Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class And Save the American Dream."
It's a very good pick if you ask me.
