Voting at Breakfast

My move to Little Italy earlier this year meant that, today just before 9 a.m., I cast my first ballot as a resident of Manhattan’s 34th Election District.

The polling place was located in the small cafeteria of P.S. 130 (The DeSoto School) on Baxter Street.

And, even though there was no school today because of the General Election, many children were in the cafeteria eating breakfast while we voted.

In Pennsylvania, polls are open until 8 p.m. In NYC, you can vote until 9 p.m.

Don't forget to vote!

I voted here in Clifton Park at about 7:55am. It was pretty quiet, we have town races but not much else.

Still - I did cast my votes and not party line.
