Petite Vanilla Scones

For the record: I love Starbucks' petite vanilla scones. But, I only get one at a time. Never three.

Go here and here for background.

Update: Dissent.

How about a link informing those of us not residing in the good old U-S-of-A what the heck a Petite Vanilla Scone is . . .

I added a link with some pictures of a petite vanilla scone.

They are little light scones with some vanilla icing on top.

To be honest, it's one of those things you have to experience for yourself. No words or pictures could do justice to them.

An aside: they go wonderfully with an iced cafe mocha.

75 cents?!?!?! Oh my goodness, something is wrong with the world when we pay that much money for something to eat that fits snuggly in the palm of your hand and goes unnoticed by your stomach after your done.

"That, so they say that, in ya know
like, Houston or something, you'd
say it's a hundred and eighty degrees, but it's a dry heat.
In Houston they say that? Oh, maybe not. I'm all mixed up.
Dry until they hit the swimming pool."

See if you can figure that one out . . .
