Very interesting, not nearly as weird as I always thought it was. (We who have no clue and all . . . )

Some thoughts:
1.) You have to confess when you swear????? Do you keep a log or what?
2.) I now think that Catholics are less pressuring and more just plain nebby.
3.) I always thought that contrition and penence were the same thing.

RE your #1: No log. Just a generic "I used profanity" or "I took the name of the Lord in vain" is sufficient.

RE #2: "Nebby"? You can tell where you grew up! :-)
