Endorsed In Print

I am proud this morning to have received the endorsement of the Observer-Reporter:

Come January, the 46th Legislative District will have a new representative in Harrisburg for the first time in 26 years because of the retirement of Rep. Victor Lescovitz. Fortunately, the voters have two excellent, young candidates to choose between. Of the two, we recommend the election of Republican Paul Snatchko.

A luke-warm "endorsement" from the Observer-Reporter. In fact, but for the headline, the word "endorsement" isn't used as the operative word. Instead, the O-R "recommends" Mr. Snatchko.

"Recommend" is hardly a force upon which to rest one's laurels. But, judging by Mr. Snatchko's tired, re-hashed plans for boon-doggle rail lines, replication of educational facilities, and spending increases, perhaps he should be happy the O-R bought what he was peddling.

In response to the above comment, I notice that Mr. Morgan lists his location as Cleveland, Ohio. That hardly qualifies him as someone who is aware of the concerns of people in the 46th district.
