Today is the First Sunday of Advent, the beginning of the Church's new liturgical year.I went to the 8:30 a.m. (!) Mass at my hometown parish, St. Alphonsus, in McDonald, PA.

Hey Paul, how about some pictures of your Advent wreath this year? :) Today we got to open the first door of our Advent calendars, very surprised that that still hasn't caught on much over there . . .
